The Tampa Bay Rays continued to roll on Thursday night and were able to defeat the Boston Red Sox in their series opener. In the win, one of their players was able to accomplish an impressive career milestone.  There have been few teams better than the Rays of late. Tampa Bay has won seven straight games and 13 of their last 14 overall. With the team now being on the road, they will have their eyes set on potentially setting a new franchise record for consecutive home wins next week.  While there might have been some mixed expectations for the team coming into the year, it is clear with a (25-12) start to the campaign that the Rays are seeking to be a contender .  The starting rotation has rightfully received a lot of positive attention for how they have performed this year, but it has also been the lineup that has contributed as well.…
