Kayak sprinting Hi I started kayak and canoe sprinting a year ago I'm still not as good as I thought I'd be after approx. 6 months of daily training . I just finished a tournament it wasn't good at all, I've probably preformed my worst during that tournament maybe because of anxiety or worrying that I might get a DQ or something but it was one of my worst races so since we're beginning a new season I wanted to ask what can I do to improve my balance in the boat and the power on the paddle what I've noticed during those races that what was the problem was that, 1- I didn't fully have my paddle in the water most of the strokes, 2- the boat was rocking so hard to the sides each time I took a stroke even though I'm still not pushing with my legs on the footrest yet . 3- my hips especially the left hip was moving uncontrollably so I was constantly on the tip of falling out of the boat.…
