PA Media A growing number of Labour MPs are coming out against Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, with some calling for him to resign and others urging him to set out a timetable for his departure. Four ministers, including Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips, have resigned. Labour's process for removing a leader requires 81 MPs to back a single challenger. Although there are more than 80 calling for the prime minister's resignation, there is currently no unified support for one specific opponent.
