When he fired Alex Cora last weekend, Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow used a move struggling executives have fallen back on for generations: Find someone else to blame. After a 10–17 start to the season, Breslow cleaned house in the dugout, firing Cora and most of his coaching staff.
