Hello everyone, I'm actually the girlfriend in this scenario - my boyfriend doesn't have reddit.

Essentially what happened is my boyfriend, who is a tattoo artist, created a design that his shop could put on merch like hoodies, shirts, etc. Without telling him, the owner put his design through ai to create something similar but obviously ai and not high quality. Does he have any rights in this situation? Is there any way to stop her from using the ai design?

edit: The new ai logo hasn't been used yet. I'm one of the shop managers, and I only caught wind of it because of a chat she was having on our shared portal. Today, she shared the design with my boyfriend as a "look at this thing I made using your design" and didn't mention that it was for their new logo, so she's definitely trying to hide this from both of us.
