A former Nebraska women’s basketball star had sex with an assistant coach, which led to her being removed from the roster in 2022, according to new court documents. Ashley Scoggin filed a lawsuit against the coach, Chuck Love, in 2024, alleging that her civil rights were violated in the lead-up to her dismissal. Scoggin seeks a jury trial and unspecified damages. Earlier in the proceedings, Love claimed he never had a sexual relationship with Scoggin.
