Got my raise after 2 years… now being told I should work more than 8 hrs/day because of it? Hi all, This is kind of a follow-up to a situation I posted about previously. I’ve been in my current role for about 2 years. Over that time, my responsibilities have expanded pretty significantly, but my pay didn’t change despite multiple conversations about a raise. I finally got one about a week ago and went from \~$60k to \~$70k (I was initially offered $65k and had to negotiate for $70k). Not exactly where I wanted to land given my scope, but enough to hold me over while I figure out my next step. For context, I work in real estate development, operations, and asset-related work. My role has evolved to cover a pretty broad range of responsibilities across the full lifecycle, including pre-development, construction coordination, lease-up, and ongoing operations.…
