I keep messing around with products to aid in my whole “low volume kit” experience going on in my condo. Today a “RTOM Black Hole” snare head attachment thingy (attaches on snare rim allowing low volume while still keeping regular head on) arrived and the 1st thing I did was adjust the mesh tension. From doing this I noticed that the thingy has crazy tones itself when used as a hand🤚🏽drum.

I’m a set drummer and rarely dabble in hand-drumming. However, using a stick and goofing around, this thing is kinda interesting.🤔

Sorry if the performance disappoints, but I just wanted to share. Also, I peeled off the black dot and reversed it on the inside of the head. The thingy has pretty good feel in comparison to Remo Silentstrokes and Evan’s dbOne’s that I use but I don’t care for the felt dots on mesh.
