Sometimes, to see something, we do not need to open our eyes.
Sometimes the opposite is true.
When we open our eyes, the world enters. Sounds enter. Scents enter. Faces, objects, movement, colors, expectations, memories, and fears enter.
The mind begins to work immediately.
What is this? What does this remind me of? What does this make me feel? Where have I seen this before? Is this good for me or bad for me? Should I move closer, or move away?
And most of the time, we think we are seeing.
Yet perhaps we only see what our mind chooses to show us.
In a crowd where everyone is speaking, we hear only one voice.
