An upcoming PvP Assassin’s Creed with the codename “Invictus” has been rumored to be in the pipeline for years. Youtuber Jonathan, who has shared accurate leaks in the past, now claims to have been told about a private playtest for the spin-off held last month. The results, they claim, aren’t so great, leading to speculation that the negative feedback could imperil the game’s ongoing development as Ubisoft cuts projects right and left. The alleged leaks compare Assassin’s Creed Invictus to Mediatonic’s slapstick mega-hit Fall Guys . Given the codename and the team behind it, For Honor ’s Ubisoft Montreal, it should be assumed this translates to a series of Olympian-inspired qualification challenges with Creed ’s signature parkour bonafides.
