My job feels so meaningless. working 5 hours on a calc to tell a client how much to pay the IRS is just not doing anything for me😂 even when doing a return it just goes off to the government and doesn’t feel important. I have one year in public under my belt so I don’t really talk to clients at all maybe that’s part of the issue. I’ve always known i didn’t want to stay in public but i’m not sure what else is out there. Studying for my CPA right now and i have two attempts in but none passed. What else is out there?! My mom was in public for 10 years got her CPA and is now a CFO at a small company and is making AMAZING money. College me was trying to follow her path in one way or another. I’ve ALWAYS been focused on the money and wanting to succeed like my mom has. submitted by /u/BootiesBoo [link] [comments]
