The longtime cable news network known as MSNBC began separating from NBC News last fall. That was followed by a name change to MS NOW. Then came a slew of new hires to rebuild its on-air roster after some chose to stay with NBC. And on Wednesday, it started to put the finishing touches on its programming lineup as it gears up for the midterm elections in November. Starting June 15, MS NOW will feature a revamped lineup that includes a morning show featuring Stephanie Ruhle and a noon Eastern show featuring Alicia Menendez. The day, of course, kicks off at 6 a.m. Eastern with one of MS NOW’s best-known shows: “Morning Joe,” with co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. The four-hour show is moving to three hours, a change the co-hosts wanted after years of hosting such a demanding schedule.…
