Space Training and Readiness Command is holding a hiring fair on Thursday in Colorado Springs as part of a hiring push to fill about 400 positions across several locations. The command is in the process of moving from Colorado Springs to Patrick Space Force Base in Florida, but it still intends to fill positions within Space Delta 11, focused on test and training environments and Space Delta 12, a unit focused on test and evaluation of weapons and tactics. Both units are headquartered at Schriever Space Force Base. A similar recent hiring fair at Patrick Space Force Base drew intense interest, said Maj. Ryan DeCamp, a spokesman for Space Training and Readiness Command, also known as STAR Command. “We expected a few hundred and we got over 1,000,” he said.
