Been coding C for 8 years with image sensors, previous automotive engineer before that doing Simulink. I impressed through take home coding, 2 technicals, and just finished my onsite interviews this week. Interview schedule seemed to awkwardly change after the first two 1:1’s. 2 of the middle interviews out of the 5 didn’t meet with me due to “an emergency”. But finished with the final person and tour. It hurts. I really want to get into aerospace before it takes off here shortly. I don’t understand what I did unless they didn’t like my sort of lame UDP and TCP explanation… but everything else went good and I could feel a good connection when I interviewed with the manager onsite. I know I got along well with everyone else along the way. Anyway, I was laid off last month and I’ve been out here interviewing, studying, playing with my esp8266 to keep me going. But had to get the thoughts out of my head. What does aerospace look for when hiring ESW? submitted by /u/ESW_ThrowAway_ [link] [comments]
