Learning from Failed AI Implementations in Corporate Law Over the past three years, I've watched several corporate law firms invest heavily in AI technology only to see their initiatives stall, underperform, or get abandoned entirely. The failure patterns are remarkably consistent—and almost entirely preventable. After conducting post-mortems on failed AI projects and studying successful implementations at firms like Baker McKenzie and Latham & Watkins, I've identified seven critical mistakes that doom AI adoption in legal practices.
