looking for bike recommendations for my neurodiverse 9-year-olds I've been perusing the threads on here about bike recommendations for kids, but a lot of them are geared toward either younger kids or kids who've been riding for a while, so they don't really fit my family's situation. I have 9-year-old twins, about to turn 10. My daughter is a pretty average height for their age (54") but my son is shorter (49") because of some medical issues that have affected his growth. Without getting into a bunch of unnecessary info, well, suffice it to say that they're neurodiverse, somewhat anxious kids who aren't exactly sporty or outdoorsy. But I think they might really enjoy riding bikes, and they've gotten a bit more coordinated in the past few years, to the point where they seem to be in a better position to give bike-riding a try. So much of the information out there is geared toward teaching young kids (like, 6- or 7-year-olds) to ride bikes and having more advanced options for older kids.…
