Jacob Elordi won’t be jetting to the Cannes Film Festival . The actor was being courted for the official jury, but he had to drop out due to a foot injury, Variety has confirmed. Page Six Hollywood was first to report that Elordi would be replaced as a juror after he broke his foot. In addition to screening a bunch of movies, jurors have to traverse the Croisette for premieres, press conferences, photo calls and parties. This year’s festival is taking place from May 12-23. Elordi’s rep did not respond to request for comment. Popular on Variety South Korean auteur Park Chan-wook, whose long history with the festival includes “Oldboy,” “Thirst” and “Decision to Leave,” is presiding over the jury of the 79th edition of Cannes.
