For a while, the base Razr has been the odd one out. You’d get a smaller cover display, a weaker second camera, and less RAM than the pricier models. But this year, Motorola actually fixed that. The Motorola Razr 2026 is official today, and the entry-level model is genuinely worth talking about. Motorola announced the full 2026 Razr flip lineup on April 29, covering three models: the Razr, the Razr+, and the Razr Ultra. Pre-orders open at Best Buy, Amazon, and Motorola.com on May 14. All three go on sale unlocked on May 21. The base Razr 2026 starts at $799.99, up $100 from last year. But in return, you get a dual 50MP rear camera system. The Razr 2025 paired a 50MP main with a 13MP ultrawide. Now both shooters are 50MP, finally catching up to what the Razr+ has offered for a couple of years . The battery also grows to 4800mAh, up from 4500mAh, which Motorola says translates to over 36 hours on a charge. A 3.6-inch external display and 6.9-inch Extreme AMOLED inner screen round out the package.…
