Join n+1 and film critic A. S. Hamrah for a Saturday double feature at Metrograph on the Lower East Side! Hamrah will introduce two films that explore spectacular American violence under capitalism: Billy Wilder’s Ace in the Hole (1951), and George A. Romero’s Land of the Dead (2005). Hamrah will sign copies of his new books, Algorithm of the Night and Last Week in End Times Cinema, between the screenings.
