Tristan Thompson has filed for conservatorship over his younger brother Amari. The NBA athlete, 35, filed to be Amari’s limited conservator on Monday, in documents obtained by Page Six. Per the docs, Amari, 19, is “unable to properly provide for his personal needs for physical health, food, clothing or shelter,” and “suffers from an intellectual disability and developmental delay.” The docs also note Amari is “unable to manage his financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence.” Amari, the docs state, is unable to comment on the selection of a conservator “due to his developmental delay and intellectual disability.” Tristan Thompson filed for conservatorship over his 19-year-old brother, Amari, on Monday.
