Bullhead City man charged in terror threats case that referenced Laughlin Bridge

An Arizona man has been arrested on suspicion of making terrorist threats after authorities say he was recorded talking to a prison inmate about making a bomb in a conversation that also referenced the Laughlin Bridge. Bullhead City, Arizona, police said Bryan Christopher Lee Chambers, 23, was arrested Thursday after state prison officials in Yuma contacted Bullhead authorities. Yuma prison officials said they had recorded conversations between Chambers and a prison inmate “discussing hiding firearms and drugs prior to the inmate’s release from prison,” Bullhead City police said in a Facebook post. “Additional conversations referenced an explosive device, including statements made by Chambers mentioning the Laughlin Bridge,” police said. Police obtained a warrant for Chambers charging him with making terroristic threats. When he was arrested, police said, he had cocaine on him. Police said they also executed a search warrant at Chambers’ home on Church Street in Bullhead City.…
