I’m looking to have composite or aluminum deck railing installed. The old railing is off (temp railing is up). Also a bit of rework on the Trex decking I have which would involve adding some blocking (picture frame added). Lastly, add a facia board including the stairs (second floor deck). Deck is roughly 20x16 feet.

Durst estimate for composite railing was 12K.

Am I crazy for thinking I can keep this well under 10K?
