Two of the stars of the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series took to the stage this afternoon at the BAFTA TV Awards. Paapa Essiedu , who is playing Severus Snape, and Nick Frost , who is Rubeus Hagrid, presented the award for Supporting Actress to Adolescence star Christine Tremarco. They couldn’t resist a bit of fun as they introduced the nominees. Essiedu decided that he would continue throughout the introduction to refer to Frost as “Hagrid” rather than by his real name. “Some truly exceptional performances, let’s take a look at the nominees Hagrid,” he said as he turned to his co-star. “My name is Nick,” the Hot Fuzz comic actor replied, “I sat next to you at the friggin’ readthrough.” Watch on Deadline Essiedu and Frost were making a rare on-stage appearance as two stars from one of the biggest upcoming shows coming to the small screen, which airs at Christmas time.…
