By Amy Gillentine Libraries are one of the few places that are open to everyone at no charge, and that also provide services for people who need accessible spaces to gather, find information, attend classes, and discover resources. Pikes Peak Library District not only opens its doors to everyone, but we are also committed to providing the right spaces, technology and programs to ensure equitable access to PPLD resources and services. During Global Accessibility Month, we are highlighting how people can use the library and how we meet needs with solutions. Our ongoing accessibility effort keeps us in line with Web Content Accessibility Guideline criteria. These guidelines help make technology accessible to users with sensory, cognitive or mobility disabilities.
