If Christopher Nolan Were Brave, ‘The Odyssey’ Would Be Gay

The first official trailer for The Odyssey has taken the internet by storm. Why is it in American English? Meh, whatever. Is Charlize Theron playing Calypso or Circle? Still unsure. But one thing I’m very sure about is that despite all the possible changes and what if’s with this film, Christopher Nolan should be giving us the Robert Pattinson/Tom Holland ship that we so rightfully deserve. Robert Pattinson is playing Antinous, a man who is hoping to take over as Ithaca’s king by marrying its queen, Penelope (Anne Hathaway). In the trailer, it’s very clear that Telemachus (Tom Holland), the son of Odysseus, AKA the missing king, is trying to help his mother by keeping her suitors at bay. But when R-Patz’s Antinous tells Telemachus, “You’re pining for a daddy you didn’t even know like some sniveling bastard,” something changed in me. The tension… I absolutely cannot get enough! And I’m not the only one thinking this either.…
