A trove of artifacts from the estate of Matthew Perry is bound for auction to benefit a cause dear to the late actor’s heart and work. Heritage Auctions is hosting the sale from June 5, which includes relics from Perry’s time on the beloved sitcom Friends (1994–2004), as well as artworks by Banksy and Mel Bochner . Proceeds from the auction will support the Matthew Perry Foundation , a nonprofit founded after the actor’s death in 2023 that works to end the stigma surrounding addiction. “Matthew believed addiction should be met with compassion and science, not stigma and silence,” Lisa Kasteler Calio , the foundation’s CEO, noted in a statement. “This auction fuels the foundation’s work to expand access to evidence-based care and confront stigma. It is one more way we ensure that no one has to fight this disease alone.” Banksy, Girl and Balloon (2005). Photo courtesy of Heritage Auctions, HA.com.…
