Is the Erlang Ecosystem community (Elixir, Erlang, Gleam) paying attention to the ethical and environmental implications of ‘AI’? I’m not sure if I’m not paying attention, or if it’s just not getting through to me, but I don’t see much discussion within the Elixir, Erlang and Gleam communities about the problematic issues surrounding the use of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ (AI) and, in particular, Large Language Models (LLMs) in software development.
