New to MTB, decided on bike- now I need to know the add-ons. So as it says, I'm new to mountain biking as a whole. As a kid I had one, but also as a kid I mostly rode it around like a road bike and didn't know the difference. But with that in mind, I do plan to go to actual trails since I'm near a good many and a lot more are within a shortish drive of me. Its also going to be used for hunting season to help me transport things as I need. That said- I need to know what sort of essential addons are good to have. Tools, protection gear, clothing, etc. My over all plan and goal is to be able to ride on Blue Square (intermediate) trails, not sure I'll go past that just yet. I'm not the biggest thrill seeker. The bike will also be used for road riding as well, I have decided on getting a Roscoe 7 Gen 4, I was considering a full-Suspension bike but I learned the hardtail would be more comfortable on road/flat surfaces so that's where I've put my focus for now.…
