Towering civil rights icon Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr. is being celebrated and remembered at The People's Celebration, his funeral service at the House of Hope on the Far South Side of Chicago. Jackson died in February at the age of 84 following a battle with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a condition similar to Parkinson's disease.What to know about The People's CelebrationThe service, which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. CT / 12 p.m. ET, is open to the public as well as invited guests.
