There's no world in which a Michael Jackson biopic would not be polarizing. No matter what any critic says, or any Rotten Tomatoes score can grade, people are going to have vastly differing opinions on the Michael film. Maybe call it "human nature." That said, I did not realize that the Michael storyline would get one of the simplest facts so wrong that it honestly became downright distracting, and unfortunately, took away from some truly stellar performances throughout the film. But more on that later. However, Michael scrubs any mention of allegations entirely, and reshoots of the film reportedly ended up costing an additional $15 million .
