Hey everyone, for 4 days, roughy 4 hours each day, I was grinding cement slab in preparation for floor (a lot of grinding). I wore p100 mask, had hepa vacuum attached to grinder, and windows open with fan blowing outward. Room didn’t seem dusty except for a couple of moments I forgot to turn vacuum on but quickly stopped to turn it on. Mask seemed to fit well but there were times I noticed a leak. There were a couple of times that once I finished grinding, I let the fans run for another 30 minutes and then took off my respirator and was in there for a total of 2 hours (1 hour one day and 1 hour another). I used a flashlight and shined it on room and saw a lot of dust, (like a mini snow storm) and realized I needed to leave. Last night I noticed I’m dry coughing and seem a little hungry for air. Apple Watch notified me my respiratory rate is higher than usual. I’m a little worried. I tried to take all the precautions I could and now having this cough and shortness of breath.…
