The US has enjoyed dramatically larger economic growth so far this year than most other large developed countries in the world, economic data shows. US gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 2% in the first quarter, compared to the previous water, Bureau of Economic Statistics Data released last week showed. Compare that to the Group of Seven (G7) bloc of countries — which has a projected economic growth of 1.1% over the same period.
