Two days later, he landed on Baseball America's newly released top-100 rankings at No. 93. The left-hander has flown under the radar after signing with the A's out of Taoyuan, Taiwan in 2024 for a signing bonus of $1.35 million in the team's international signing class. In his pro debut in 2025, he posted a 4-5 record with a 3.72 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP across 87 innings with Stockton, Lansing and Midland. Lin made 26 appearances (13 starts) at the age of just 19. Now he's 20 and carving up Double-A hitters with four plus pitches and improved control. Through six starts, Lin holds a 1.61 ERA (3.05 FIP) with a 28.9% strikeout rate and a 7.9% walk rate.
