Two titans of novelty wave surfing, and YouTube vlogging, united for a potentially historic surf session, over the Memorial Day Weekend, in a New Jersey waterway. Ben Gravy and Jacob “Zeke” Szekely teamed up to surf the Cape May – Lewes Ferry wave, a wake forged from the transportation ship, and at some points, even making a substantially surf-able wave. It’s not the first time for this wave, but this time was different. Per Gravy’s latest vlog, he’s claiming “historic biggest ferry wave on record.” See below. Equipped with a jet ski to tow into the wave, a wide variety of surf craft, and countless cameras to capture all the angles, the boys took on the ferry wake.
