St. Louis Cardinals hurler Packy Naughton simply cannot catch a break. Naughton pitched in 30 games for the Cardinals in the majors across the 2022 and 2023. He quickly became a fan favorite. Unfortunately, he has had some brutal luck over the last few years. His 2023 season was ended early after undergoing season–ending surgery to repair the flexor tendon in his left elbow. In 2024, he pitched in 15 games down in the minors and had a 2.21 ERA . Unfortunately, he had to undergo surgery once again in 2024 after he re-tore his flexor tendon.
