World Series-winning manager Bobby Cox, who was a big-league skipper for 25 seasons and oversaw the most successful era of Braves baseball in the 1990s, died at age 84, the team announced Saturday. “We are overcome with emotion on the passing of Bobby Cox, our treasured skipper,” the team said. “Bobby was the best manager to ever wear a Braves uniform.
