Heyward says it’s all part of the supe’s exit strategy. “She’s always been someone who wasn’t really interested in helping anybody,” Heyward told DECIDER in a recent chat, adding that Sage’s childhood wounds go “so deep,” we’re still seeing the impact now as she prepares to abandon humanity to live out the rest of her life in peace in a remote bunker.
