I just did an interview for an administrative assistant position. I was the first candidate of the day at 8:45am. In the mornings, my throat usually is a bit dry so I always have a thermos with warm water, honey, and ginger. I brought this to the interview and when they offered me a drink, I just replied, "no worries, I have a tea with me, but thank you for offering." I haven't done many interviews throughout my lifetime. Is bringing a beverage a faux pa? The thermos was discreet and plain, just a light blue travel mug. There's so many dos and donts in interviews, I can't keep up with them. Edit: Thank you for all of the responses! submitted by /u/Supersister777 [link] [comments]
