ITN chief executive Rachel Corp has stepped down from her role with immediate effect, the broadcaster announced on Tuesday. She will be succeeded by Ian Rumsey. Ms Corp's departure follows over three decades at the organisation, having started as a trainee. Her career included senior leadership roles such as editor of ITV News London, 5 News, and ITV News, before her four years as chief executive. Her successor, Ian Rumsey, a Bafta - and RTS-winning producer, joined ITN in 2005 after beginning his career in newspapers. He has held senior roles including programme editor of ITV News’ News at Ten and chief content officer at ITN Productions.
