Ok I wrote a whole other thing but realize the way I worded things was confusing. I am going to try to keep this brief. I am living abroad with family but my circumstances are complicated. I may not be able to stay in the country I am for more than a year. I have been contemplating moving home to the US because logistically it may make more sense. But I have some concerns about the political climate, due to very reasonable concerns based on several demographics I am a part of. (I know this is vague, bear with me). Being away from home, the homesickness is giving me rose colored glasses. But I know things are very hard for a lot of people. Those of you who are in the states or have moved home- what is your experience of the states right now? If you had the opportunity to fight to stay abroad would you take it? What is it like back home? If you moved back, do you regret it? Etc Not needing anyone to make this decision for me, there are many factors that I am weighing- most not even in my control.…
