It succeeds the four-year-old Sony A7R V , and on paper, it sounds like a dream. It packs a newly designed 66.8MP sensor, making it the highest resolution full-frame camera today. 30fps RAW burst, a next-gen processor, Auto subject detection, a high-res EVF and a 4-axis monitor — it's got it all. But that doesn't mean the A7R V is going anywhere (for now). The A7R V is still one of the best mirrorless cameras you can buy today, and in light of its successor now being a reality, it's cheaper than ever. That's right, the A7R V body is currently $900 off at Adorama , making it a little more affordable at $3,298 (rather than its retail price of $4,198).
