Greeting the Seasons with Open Hearts A snow flurry falls and calls of the holiday season are upon us. It’s a wonderful life, as I find myself singing the rhymes of yester years. My reflection in the park’s puddle mirrors my mood perfectly. Without motion or movement I stand peering into a winter wonderland. A stone is thrown, breaking the surface and the ripples created wake my soul with passion. The air has turned cold over night. The leaves have been blown from their branches by day. This time of year has tip toed up my spine chilling my structure to the core. Roaming the land. Touched by the hand of our creator, has me thinking of the most meaningful contributors to my life. Love, family, friends, and the necessity to survive. These gifts have opened my eyes to realize the only thing that stays the same in this storm of events, is change. Change is welcomed like the New Year to come. Let the warmth of the fire comfort your body, silence your soul, and refresh your mind for the discoveries of tomorrow.…
