Hi, I think this is a basic question. I have home assistant HAOS installed on an old laptop. When I want to install something that isn't available on HACS, it usually says something to the effect of download it and copy it to the custom_components folder.

How do I do that?

It seems like in usual linux fashion there are multiple ways to do this but I'm not sure where to start.
