Taye Diggs is getting into the rapidly growing vertical drama business. The actor has partnered with producers Autumn Federici (“All For Love,” “Forever”), Shelby Stone, James Black (“All-American”) and Troy Brookins to launch Microhouse Films . Diggs and partners join a space that first grew in popularity overseas, with Hollywood veterans now dabbling in it as well. Microhouse Films touts itself as driven by filmmakers. The partnership comes as Diggs, Brookins, Stone and Federici are currently filming the microdrama “Tides of Temptation,” starring Swag Boy Q, as an offshoot of the Lifetime movie “Terry McMillan Presents: Paradise With You” (which stars Diggs). “When we thought about how to meaningfully impact the vertical space, we immediately focused on the creators and storytellers whose livelihoods depend on where this industry is headed,” Diggs said in a statement.…
