Founded in 1959 by Charles Von Büren, Squale is a famed name amongst the fans of professional dive instruments ; the company produced its own models and made cases for numerous brands during the golden age of underwater exploration. To mark the return to these origins, last year the brand introduced the Squale 2001, a late 1960s barrel-shaped watch ( first reproduced in 2024 as a limited-edition piece for the brand’s 65th anniversary ), as a permanent collection model. For 2026, the new Squale SUB-37 Legend emerges, offering compact proportions, great legibility and functional integrity, with just a dash of trend-driven design. The SUB-37 Legend is presented, as you might have guessed by the name, in a compact 37mm stainless steel case (38.5mm with the bezel), 11.2mm thick.
