Sally Field said during a recent appearance on “ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert ” that she didn’t find her “Mrs. Doubtfire” co-star Robin Williams funny while shooting the 1993 comedy. “Because I would never laugh, ever,” Field recalled. “And everybody else was laughing and carrying on.” Field said that Williams, who prided himself on making his scene partners laugh with his improvising, grew frustrated that she was immune to his jokes.
