Is there any particular Zelda and/or Pikmin game that could more easily get me used to other styles of games that aren’t as action-focused as Mario, Kirby, Donkey Kong, etc.?

Over the 24 years I’ve been into gaming, aside from 1 Zelda title- Ocarina of Time, I’ve never put more than 15 minutes into any single video game outside the Mario, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Metroid, or Smash Bros franchises, and I’ve 100%’d 48 different games within those same franchises. I recently gave Zelda OOT a good 45 minutes before finally turning it off, as I was always looking for something to fight or try to survive against the whole time I was playing, and only got that for just a few minutes inside the Deku Tree. People have told me Zelda is more focused on solving puzzles, and I think I’ve just gotten so used to the more action-oriented games for so many years, I just can’t see anything in OOT as a puzzle. How does someone with this type of gaming background get into to franchises like Zelda & Pikmin?
