Ryan McMahon was frustrated.
His much-discussed new batting stance had not produced immediate results.
Through April, he hit .167 with a .518 OPS and heard boos in The Bronx.
The Yankees came home from Texas and began a homestand in May, at the beginning of which McMahon sat in the clubhouse and watched video of himself in the batter’s box.
