He is rated as a four star recruit and ranked as the No. 2 athlete in the class of 2027 according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. As a junior in 2025, Walden played both offense and defense.  On offense, Walden had 42 receptions for 912 yards and 10 touchdowns.
