He is rated as a four star recruit and ranked as the No. 2 athlete in the class of 2027 according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. As a junior in 2025, Walden played both offense and defense. On offense, Walden had 42 receptions for 912 yards and 10 touchdowns. On defense, he had 28 tackles, 17 pass break ups, and two interceptions.
