Kodak Black has been arrested in Florida on drug trafficking charges, inmate records show.

The 28-year-old rapper — real name Bill Kapri — was booked Wednesday into the Orange County Jail. He is being held without bond. Black, who has a history of drug-related charges, is facing a new charge of trafficking 10g of MDMA, according to jail records.

Trafficking any amount equal to or more than 10g of MDMA, a synthetic drug with stimulant and hallucinogenic properties, is considered a serious first-degree felony in the state of Florida and carries a mandatory minimum prison sentence of three years and a fine of $50,000.

Wednesday’s arrest is reportedly related to a November 2025 incident that occurred outside the Orlando non-profit Children's Safety Village, according to an affidavit seen by local outlet Wesh.
